When did you start working at WorldView Solutions?


Just what is it that you do here?

I am the Human Resource Director. In my role, I support our employees in all facets of day- to- day and strategic Human Resources management including benefit design and administration (healthcare and 401k), recruitment and onboarding, as well as training and development. The best part of my job is that my work varies from day-to-day and I have the opportunity to interact with our employees on a daily basis.

What recent project have you worked on where your key skills and specialties were utilized?

I recently implemented a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to facilitate and streamline payroll, benefits, paid time off, onboarding, and other organization-specific requirements. This implementation required high degrees of planning, coordination, direction and communication with our vendor and employees. I continue to maintain the platform to ensure it’s usable for employees and our organization’s needs.

Before working at WorldView, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

When I was thirteen years old, a neighbor recruited me to sell Avon. I was one of the youngest Avon sales representatives in my area and actually went door to door selling makeup. Despite my perseverance of knocking on doors, I was a thirteen-year-old too tempted by the newness of makeup and skin care and needless to say, I didn’t make a dime!
