Routable Transportation Network Development

The project included development of emergency services data layers, including site addresses and geocodable road centerlines. This involved a combination of source material conversion and field verification techniques. This data was integrated for use within the County’s E911 CAD system, resulting in the creation of detailed E911 Address Map Books, including cartographic design and map automation. The second part of the project involved the creation of a routable road centerline network; and development of new emergency service numbers, running nine deep in the County CAD, as well as first and second due fire and EMS response zone maps. Analysis incorporated speed limits and estimated drive times.
