A Geographic Information System can provide online users with a gateway to an organization’s spatial and non-spatial data. Using ESRI’s ArcGIS Server and off-the-shelf controls developed by its partner MapsDirect LLC, WorldView creates fast, powerful, and user friendly web mapping applications. For many clients, WorldView will develop an internally accessible web portal that provides users with the ability to access all of the map services and geoprocessing tools published by the organization using ArcGIS Server. Tools include 3D profiling, Google Streetview integration, live connectivity to related non-spatial data, and KML import / export functionality. In addition to the internal mapping application, WorldView also offers template based solutions for parcel mapping, economic development, and transportation applications. The parcel mapping application is search driven and focuses on the distribution of detailed assessment information tied to mapping functionality. WorldView provides economic development organizations with a mapping solution that is focused on locking in prospects using a web retail approach. In the transportation arena, our clients include state and local transportation departments, with applications that provide route selection and analysis tools using dynamic segmentation.
