The use of mapping in the field provides users with tools to collect, store, query, analyze and display enterprise data in real time. WorldView works with clients to deploy ArcGIS Mobile, ArcPad and ArcGIS Engine as part of their data distribution and collection workflows. The challenge is determining the appropriate software, device, and deployment approach for each project. WorldView’s mobile experience includes the development of mobile data tools for local government clients, allowing County inspectors to find assets with GPS and open related as-built drawings and plats. WorldView has also developed laptop based mobile applications that provide data display, optimized routing, GPS integration, and data capture tied to a data replication and synchronization workflow that give hundreds of mobile users timely access to critical mapping data.
