The desktop environment continues to be the platform for performing analysis, automated tasks, and advanced visualization by each organization’s mapping professionals. To that end, WorldView develops tools for its clients that are built on ArcGIS Desktop using the .NET, Python, and VBA development environments. Solutions include open source map automation tools that allow clients to automate the generation of map books based on changes in data. WorldView also works closely with clients on the development of applications using ModelBuilder and Python which focus on the integration of business system data into the GIS. Our team of developers also design solutions that assist clients with day-to-day workflow tasks. This has included the development of an open source data editing tool that automatically tracks and stores a variety of attributes at the feature level.
