GIS is not only a mission-critical tool for many state agencies, it also provides a common geospatial platform, facilitating the exchange of data among state agencies as well as federal and local government entities. WorldView has partnered with state government agencies on GIS projects that range across topics such as environmental regulation, economic development, resource management, transportation and conservation. Furthermore, many WorldView Team members have direct employment experience working in state and regional government, fostering in them a greater understanding of the challenges that geospatial systems practitioners in these organizations face.
